Colour bulb recognized as a white one

not sure, but I have a "non Philips" bulb here included (via the HueBridge & HomeBridge plugins) which shows as a "non-colour bulb" in Alexa.
I can manage the colour via Indigo and Homekit, but not via the Alexa App, it shows there as a white one.
Any ideas why this is so?
Am I missing something?
