Receiver Volume Control using Alexa
Posted: Thu Dec 14, 2017 7:42 pmI swear I remember reading someone wanting or did control their Yamaha receiver using the echo bridge but it was a while ago and google and myself cannot find the post.
I was just playing around with the routines and reading the V3 documentation and it almost now seems reasonable since we can pass a DIM value to indigo now. I'm just kind of drawing a blank on how to actually accomplish this without a bunch of virtual devices, math and variables since volume is like -60dBs to -5dBs or whatever my safe limits were.
I feel like I'm missing something simple(r)... Anyone doing anything similar??
