Camera Push Notification via HomeKit Bridge

Been playing around with how to get a camera snapshot (obtained by Rest API) to be included in a HomeKit Motion notification (currently working via Home Kit Bridge)

Searching infers this used to be available via the Home Bridge Plugin, but there is not full functionality with the Home Kit Bridge plugin.

Maybe its me not understanding push notifications, but I am really struggling to understand why I get push notification via HomeKit for motion, but there is no option to attach a CCTV snapshot?? I mean this image can be sourced locally and sent to my iPhone along with the notification surely?

Maybe if this is not the case I can use the iMessage Plugin or Pushover?

Any clarification and/or advice would be helpful (note - Camera is not HomeKit compatible)

It may be easier to use another instance of Homebridge and see how to integrate your camera or NVR into that. I’d did that with my Unifi Doorbell and have my blue Iris streams passed through as well.

I am not using motion events but you can find details on how to connect a number of different cameras etc
