Full Homebridge with confg-ui-x under this plugin?

I like Indigo but I have a few devices that I want to expose to Alexa as an actual TV device type - not supported by the Indigo Alexa plugin (I can only expose them as a switch). So I have Homebridge with its Alexa plugin running in a container on my NAS and use the CMD4 plugin to curl Indigo for status, commands etxc Works so well I have this for a number of devices. But either CPU or network or something sometimes causes lag.

Now, the Homek Bridge plugin runs home bridge within the plugin. I'm wondering if anybody's installed home bridge config-ui-x on top of the Indigo version of Homebridge and then are able to install 3rd party Homebridge plugins on that same install without breaking things?

I don't know enough about npm/nodejs to know if I did a "node install ... package name" if it would install in the right path to be used by the plugin version of home bridge. Just waned to throw this out there to see if anybody has tried this before. Thanks
