HomeKit Automations getting Boogered Up
Posted: Wed Sep 22, 2021 3:27 pmI have a number of HomeKit compatible devices that are not visible to Indigo. In order to include these devices in my Indigo universe, I've created for each a corresponding virtual Indigo device, published to HomeKit via the HomeKit bridge.
In HomeKit, I've created a bunch of automatons that turn each virtual device ON or OFF as its corresponding physical device turns on and off. This gives Indigo visibility to device states.
My problem is on the HomeKit side. From time to time, my automations forget what virtual device they are supposed to turn on or off. The automations are still there, but there is nothing listed under the accessories to be controlled.
Anyone have ideas on the cause of and solution to this problem?
