HomeKit Bridge is running.

The two bridges I have are running.

I don't see any significant errors in the log.

Home app shows all HomeBridge devices as "NOT RESPONDING"

Siri reports some devices as not responding too, of course.

First worked on this yesterday. Rebuilt the Homebridge folder under Advanced Plugin Actions. Seemed to fix it after a restart of the plugin. Came home tonight, and it's not working.

Restarted both bridges, restarted the plugin. Same. Most recent log entries:

Does this thread help the situation at all? Not sure why it would just bomb out like that, I don't think it's Homebridge, it may be a corrupted HomeKit database.

this bit: "but if you go to the 7.0 version of this folder all the logs are updating there" is not happening. I'm seeing updates in the 7.3 folder. The pref file already points to the 7.3 folder.

Also, HomeBridge was working for at least a week or two after I upgraded to 7.3.

Oh, and if it's a corrupt HK db, would that prevent ANY HomeKit/Siri stuff from working? Because things directly connected to HomeKit, like my Nanoleafs, are working.

Is it only for your cameras or everything?

I actually don’t have any cameras that have ever worked with HomeKit or home bridge. I have 95 devices that are in the home bridge and none of them are responding in home kit.

Can you try turning on the debugging for one of the problem servers in Advanced in the server's config? That might give us some indication of what Homebridge is hearing and what is happening with the conversation.

Looks like I forgot that I **tried* to set up cameras in HomeBridge a while ago, but they never worked. However, I haven't made any changes to the system in weeks, and it just recently started being unresponsive.

And on the off chance that the "Greatroom Cam", which I'm having other problems with outside of HBK is the issue, I've deleted that device from HKB. Reloaded the plugin, still no joy.

So it's a little confusing, I know, but there is the plugin debug mode, which you are using now that is like most other plugins. There is also the Homebridge debug mode, which you enable via each server individually and the output of that is actually the Homebridge log file, not the Indigo logs and you can dump the contents of the Homebridge log file by going into Plugins -> Advanced Plugin Actions (see screenshot), it's that log that will have the details (depending on which debug option you select for the server). So for the HKB server debug use the bottommost debug option, it is VERY VERY verbose and may provide some clues to the issue(s).

Nothing screaming out in that log. In fact I would say it's pretty much what I would expect, and it's populating devices from Indigo. Do you see any devices missing from that list? Such as a device that HomeKit shows as unavailable?

You could try restarting the server (that clears the log) and the 1st test would be to turn on/off a light in Indigo that is shared with HomeKit and see what the logs say. Then reverse it, turn on/off a light in HomeKit and see what the logs say.

EVERY Homebridge device is unavailable to HomeKit. The only available devices are ones that connect directly to HK without being defined by HKB.

I've totally restarted the Indigo machine and I'm about to head home to see how things are. But from here, on my iPhone, all HKB devices report as unavailable.

Based on the information it really seems like the HomeKit database is blown up. I would try adding a new HKB server to Indigo, then to HomeKit and see if that works and then if nothing works you may have to blow away all the HomeKit devices and re-import them all.

Just for clarity, do you mean delete the devices from the HKB server, delete the server itself, or delete them from the Apple Home App?

So I would try creating a new HKB server and adding it to HomeKit and see what happens. I would also remove ONE server from HomeKit to see if you can add it back and if things work on that server. Finally if nothing else works I would remove all accessories from HomeKit and re-add them - if you have a corrupt HomeKit database that may resolve it but it depends on what else is linked directly to HomeKit rather than through HKB.

Weirdly I have had the same thing for the last 2 days. I had been getting annoyed that whenever I restarted my Mac without closing HKB, the HKB servers always failed to start, and I had to do them manually. Plus occasionally I would find them stopped. So I did a folder rebuild for all my servers and now they all show as not responding. Have restarted Mac a few times but no change.
Deleted a server from Home app on iPhone, and no change. Cant add back this one now, or a brand new one created.

Am a bit stuck now.
