How do you define an individual key on a keypad?

For example I have two sconces linked to keypad button #2. I can use an action group to turn both on but it looks like with groups I lose the ability to do things like set dimming level. Anyway to set it up as a device?

If I understand what you are trying to do, you'd like to use the #2 keypad to turn the sconces on to a certain brightness level.

There are 2 ways to do this, the first is to set the default brightness you want on the sconces themselves (I'm assuming they are controlled by some other Insteon device). In this case, Set up an Action Group to turn on those two sconces, D,evice Actions>Light Appliance Controls>Turn On, and have your #2 keypad perform that Action Group.

The second way to do this with Action Groups is to specify Brightness Level. Device Actions>Light Appliance Controls>Set Brightness, and then have your #2 keypad perform this Action Group.

However, I'm not sure that I fully understand what you are trying to do.. :)

Re: How do you define an individual key on a keypad?

Let me try to clarify. On the wall keypad I have two devices linked to one of the smaller buttons (#2 if I remember correctly) I can turn the devices on/off and dim from that button on the wall keypad. In the HomeKit device I want to create a device that uses button #2. (The two lights each have an individual Inline Linc dimmer in the J boxes) That way I can use Siri to not only turn on/off but also set a brightness level. If I use an "Action" I can turn the two devices on/off but Siri doesn't seem to understand the brightness level commend when used with an "Action". When using a single "Device" (Like a single light with a dimming Switch Linc) Siri understands the bigness command automatically. Make sense? I'm using a Homepod for the Siri control.
