macOS Mojave (10.14) Compatibility

We and other users have tested/upgraded to Mojave and while everything seems to work, there are a few things you should know about when upgrading:

  1. The FTDI driver bugs discovered in High Sierra are still present, so if you're using an Insteon PowerLinc or RFXCOM RFXtrx433/RFXrec433 you may need to perform the workaround we identified. The problem isn't on all Macs so no need to do the workaround steps unless you are encountering problems.
  2. Apple apparently changed how its built-in modem driver names serial ports for devices that use that driver (Z-Stick Gen5, HomeSeer SmartStick+, probably others) so when you upgrade you'll need to reselect the serial port in the Z-Wave config dialog.

We'll post any other issues we find in followups to this post (and expand the list above). If you've found an issue please report it to us so we can investigate and add it as necessary.
