Re: recurring error, unifi access??

sorry what do you mean 'switch off controller info in config'?

i did restart the controller a couple times to see if that helps, but so far no.

thanks!

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

In the plugin config you can select to use the controller info at different levels
Select off

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

i turned controller type to = 'off'

if that's what you mean.

i tried to change controller info to 'off' but it auto-selects 'ON' each time i press enter.

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

in version .387 you can set timeout to any value.

please try w time = 25 secs.

in plugin/config/general section at bottom
(make sure that you use a number, no spaces or letters)

recurring error, unifi access??

.. and you can set controller to "off" then the controller will be ignored.

AP and switches still work ie who do phone join/leave wifi

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

thx Karl.

with new version i cannot make a controller type stick, it reverts to off/blank upon config save.

so, i can't actually test this version.

i have set t/o to 25s, but doesn't matter as it won't take a controller config setting.

i have a hosted controller btw.

also, i find the info on device state to be quite unreliable without a controller in the system. so, i do need a controller interface here.

thx a lot for keeping on this!

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

when you change controller type it also changes some defaults, but may be not if you reverse the settings (ie from hosted to off and back to hosted)
I tried to automate any switch of type, but there are some many options and versions that it is difficult to get this right in all directions.

this is what i get now.

also, the ssh pswrd seems to have unpopulated as well. far as i know that was autofill. i never assigned one. just intended to use controller.

thx

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

your user id / pwds must be wrong, remember there are several

ssh to devices
http to controller

and could you switch on debug (6), (6.1) (7) (14)

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

thx Karl

the pw to controller is correct, i have checked it several times manually

the pw to the devices via ssh, as i said, i never entered, never knew it, seems that it auto-populated at some point but now has disappeared. is this possible? does that autofill at any point?

thanks!

Re: recurring error, unifi access??

you can check if ssh is enabled on the controller (login to the controller) then / settings / system/ then depending on your version.. mine is under advanced
