no os and / port found

   uniFiAP Warning                 getunifiOSAndPort bad return from unifi controller 192.168.0.1, no os and / port found, tried ports:[u'443', u'8443']


This is new. happens on a restart. Also happens regularly after starting the plugin. How do I fix it? The plugin seems to be working otherwise, so this error is puzzling.

Q:
are you using the latest V? (7.40.397)

then try:
in config:
- set controller prot to 443
- set curls or python request to python requests

I am using 7.40.397.

port was default, now set to 443.

Curls now changed to python requests. Seems to come back up and start functioning (because Unifi devices show statuses)....

sits for a while at "initialized ... looping"...

Yes the new UniFi version does not reply to the port test as before.

So hardwiring the port solved that
