Protocol version error?

Hello,

I get the following error message when I try to block a few device through the plugin:

in Line 4555 has error=[SSL: TLSV1_ALERT_PROTOCOL_VERSION] tlsv1 alert protocol version (_ssl.c:590)

Any idea what causes this? Running 34.320 so that should be the newest version.

Thanks,

Mark

What is your setup?
Mac OS
UniFi Controller version

The new UniFios needs python request. Curl does not work - I have not figured out how to use curl with the new referer login - so the plugin switches to request when it detects UniFi-os ( controller v 6.x)

Older Mac OS have an outdated ssl library
That requests is using That will create the ssl error message

And the new 6.x does not work with http put post. Only http get works.

So if you have an older Mac OS you are out of luck. No controller function will work. The wifi ap & switches parts will still work.

Hi Karl,

Thanks. I use a Unifi Dream Machine Pro (network module 6.0.34) and run Sierra on my Indigo mac mini. That may be a bit outdated. I could do an update of the OS. Probably the last time I can do that with my Late 2014 hardware...
