Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

on the indigo server open terminal and do:
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/expect '/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7.4/Plugins/uniFiAP.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/UDM-pro-sensors.exp'  'root'  '' 192.168.0.1 #

then
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/expect '/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7.4/Plugins/uniFiAP.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/UDM-pro-sensors.exp'  'root'  '' 192.168.0.1 \#

and post results

Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

Looks like they both work fine.

First one:

Code: Select all
 % /usr/bin/expect '/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7.4/Plugins/uniFiAP.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/UDM-pro-sensors.exp'  'root'  'MYPASSWORD' 192.168.0.1 #
spawn ssh root@192.168.0.1

Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

It's getting closer. Temps are showing in the logs. But the temperature field of the UDMP Switch device is not updating. I deleted the UDMP and restarted the plugin; it recreated and still no temp value.

Thanks

Code: Select all
14:50:02 get sensorValues from UDMpro cmd: /usr/bin/expect '/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7.4/Plugins/uniFiAP.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/UDM-pro-sensors.exp'  'root'  'MYPASSWORD' 192.168.0.1 #

Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

almost there, decoded the temperatures, ... last step is to fill the device states of the "gateway" device

do you have a unifi - gateway device?

Karl

this has debug for updating the dev-states..
Code: Select all
https://github.com/kw123/unifi/releases/tag/v7.30.253

Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

I have debug logging turned but don't see where it is updating the device state. Should I have another log option enabled?

That indicates that you don’t have an Indigo Gateway device

Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

Oh yeah sorry I missed that. I just have the Unifi UDM Pro, three switches and 3 wireless APs. but no GW. The UDM Pro performs that function.

Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file archival

The plugin normally generates that device.
If you have a GW, UDM , or UDM-pro
So why did yours not do that?

Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

Ah. UDM Pro shows up as a switch with a blank temp value.

I have other devices that showed with different mac addresses and my public IP in the notes field, but no temperature field.

I deleted all of the Unifi System devices and restarted the plugin. Now those devices that previously had the public IP of my UDMPRO now do not display a public IP in the notes field. Nor do they even show a temperature field.

Could you write the temperature value to the UDM Pro Switch device?

Thanks

Re: Feature Requests -- UDM Pro Support and backup file arch

The UDM pro should show up as 3 devices:
Switch
Ap
Gateway.

No devices prefixed with GW. I have GW enabled in my plugin config.
