USG temperature

In attempting to better manage the temp in my crowded rack with little air flow I now have a fan mounted at the top but it's very noisy and I want to be more clever when I run it. I already monitor air temp with pibeacon at various points in it, but would be great to get the actual internal temp of the USG from the plugin so I can trigger from the temp.
Is this possible?
Cheers

Re: USG temperature

If a UniFi devjce has the temp key in its dict it is shown in the devjce states. The usg4 has several temps. Don’t recall the usg3

The 8 port switches do not, the larger ones do .

Re: USG temperature

I have added the following states to the USG (3&4). They will be numbers not strings. ie w/o [ºC], so that you can set a trigger on it .

the USG4 has more measurement points than the USG3 (only temperature_general ==> temperature ) with the USG4 has 4.

All temps are in C. I would like to keep it that way as the source is in C. If nobody requests otherwise I will leave it that way .

Still doing some , will publish this weekend.
