Re: Cant get into configuration after 7.25.137 upgrade

the error message appears when you want to open config?

==> unifi-Report getting _id for AP Y-Basement AP /stat/device/f0:9f:c2:23:12:e1
that is at the end of def startup(self)
All the get plugin prefs should done by then.

could you wait a minute after start and then try to open config. This might be a timing issue?

Yes, the error message occurs when I want to go into configuration.

I’m traveling this week. I will try again when I get home Thursday.

Re: Cant get into configuration after 7.25.137 upgrade

i changed from copying in startup
Code: Select all
 self.xxx               = self.pluginPrefs.get(u"xxx", "abc")
and using self.xxx in the program
Code: Select all
if  self.xxx=="123":

to using directly
Code: Select all
if  self.pluginPrefs.get(u"xxx", "abc") ==""123":
at the places where it is being used

Have a version where I revered that - posted ... .138) . It might be that when the plugin is busy waiting the self.pluginPrefs.get might time out ..

Re: Cant get into configuration after 7.25.137 upgrade

"api.err.UnknownDevice" means the device with mac# 80:2a:a8:d3:a5:7c is not known to the controller ...

could you do while it is running:

menu / PRINT & get info from UniFi Controller DB ../ Get parameters for controller into indigo devices

that does the same .. and could you switch on debug for " ssh connection to unifi devices" just for a minute while the command executes.

Karl
you should see something like this :
Code: Select all
21:26:39 Connection               -/usr/bin/curl --insecure -c /tmp/unifiCookie --data '{"username": "xxx", "password": "xxx.unifi"}' https://192.168.1.xxx:8443/api/login
21:26:39 Connection               -/usr/bin/curl --insecure -b /tmp/unifiCookie  -X PUT https://192.168.1.xx:8443/api/s/default/stat/device/xx:8a:xx:53:3e:xx
21:26:39 Connection               -{ "data" : [ { "_id" : "5axxxxxxxxf8a3f" , "_uptime" : 2524918 , "adopt_ip" : "192.168.1.xx" , "adopt_url" :.....  with a lot of data

Re: Cant get into configuration after 7.25.137 upgrade

this states:
it communicates ok, but the mac number is wrong:

f0:9f:c2:23:12:e1
and
80:2a:a8:d3:a5:7c

are those the MAC #s of of your APs?

Karl
and I xx-ed your userid and password

What do you think?

Thanks, however I already change those and the IP address. I'll replace with XX next time so you know I've changed them. Thanks for looking out for us.

Re: Cant get into configuration after 7.25.137 upgrade

so the MAC # is correct, the ip number is correct, the communication works fine ...

what version of the controller are you running?

could you do these 2 manually in a terminal window?
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/curl --insecure -c /tmp/unifiCookie --data '{"username": "xx", "password": "xx"}' https://62.18.14.25:8443/api/login
/usr/bin/curl --insecure -b /tmp/unifiCookie  -X PUT https://62.18.14.25:8443/api/s/default/stat/device/f0:9f:c2:23:12:e1
