Re: selling unifi equipment

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition? :)

Ty Pennington is great but mad!

On topic, I’ve been through four WiFi solutions at great expense before finding Ubiquiti; it covers 95% of my UK house from a central point. Might add a second in the study and turn off the WiFi in my ASUS RT500(?) router.

Church has the other 2 APs from the kit, which also out-perform the old WiFi.

Basing knowledge of US houses entirely on US diy / makeover shows that show most are stud wall / plasterboard (dry wall) so guess you have better range inside. Apologies if completely wrong.

Interestingly down the road from me is a new Barratts development which is being built using a timber construction method.. which they promised they would stop doing after a spate of house fires back in the late 90s!

And I think everything I know about DIY I’ve learned from Watching This Old House and Home Again back (again) in the 90s when Discovery channel actually broadcast interesting programs. Now it all seems to be reality programs.

Just moved to US, and left my wifi set up in sweden (together with the zwave stuff). Karl, your offer is timed perfectly. Is it still valid, or am I too late?

Holy smoke! Is that your closet? That's going to take some time to provision but what a sweet network it will be.

I'm jealous!

I came here to drink milk and kick ass....and I've just finished my milk.

Oh! Those boxes are all empty.

No wonder UniFi keeps running out of product.
