Event Log Error

This is a wonderful plug-in and the most effective at determining when we are home.

I am getting the following error in the event log on a regular basis and I am not sure if there is something I should do.

uniFiAP in Line '4557' has error='unsupported operand type(s) for -: 'int' and 'unicode''

Thanks!

Re: Event Log Error

Hello Karl,

I've got another error
Code: Select all
uniFiAP Error                   plugin runConcurrentThread function returned or failed (will attempt again in 10 seconds)

I noticed this error with the last version .120

I only saw it once and it went away.

What you think?

Re: Event Log Error

Hi,

for me it does come back, every 10 seconds :)

uniFiAP Error Error in plugin execution runConcurrentThread:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 3650, in runConcurrentThread
IndexError: list index out of range

uniFiAP Error plugin runConcurrentThread function returned or failed (will attempt again in 10 seconds)

Never had this working (installed today) I might have done something wrong w/ setup :/ Or unicode error (I live in sweden).

EDIT: Never mind, my bad. It works now. I had to put in the IP of my APs, it did not find it automatically (from the cloud key) for some reason.

Best regards, L

Re: Event Log Error

I am running v. 7.21.126 and the plug-in does exactly what I want it to do, but I get the following error in the event log often. Any thoughts?

Re: Event Log Error

are you using the camera NVR feature?

if not: switch of the camera userid ( set to "" ) in config

if yes: try to reset the event count

Karl

will added a check for that

adding some more reporting for cameras AND adding commands like start recording/ stop recording .. enable /disable recording

Re: Event Log Error

Thanks, Karl!

I was not using the video option and I had to remove the IP address of my NVR to prevent the event log error.

This plug-in is the most reliable method that I have found in Indigo to determine if we are home or away.

Thanks again!
