Indigo action to run native AppleScript files instead of embedding scripts inside of Indigo

NAVIGATE: Downloads & Release Notes | Documentation | Known Issues

When it comes to simple this is probably the simplest plugin I've written to date. This plugin allows you to save your AppleScripts into a folder and then select an AppleScript to run as an Indigo action. If the script returns values it can be stored in a variable as a sting or in the plugin itself as its native data type and recalled via an action.

Want More?

This is a very basic plugin, there's a lot that can be done with it. I've been using it to move away from using scripts inside of Indigo but I've considered doing things like allowing more complex runs that can call a method, return values into a variable and more. At it's core it'll run your script if your script doesn't need to do anything with Indigo and is pretty self contained.

Re: AppleScript Handler Open Beta

This took me, I believe, about 15 minutes to write . I've been seeing post after post after post about AppleScript conversions so I figured I would put this up and see if it helps. If it doesn't then it doesn't, no skin off my back. If people want more or they find an issue, I'm here.

Working on different plugins breaks the monotony. Right now HKB is a bit in maintenance mode, Tado still has some questions to answer and I thought "sure, why not". I'm also working on my next "big" plugin, still working out the details but I'm pretty excited for it.

My Modest Contributions to Indigo:

HomeKit Bridge | Device Extensions | Security Manager | LCD Creator | Room-O-Matic | Smart Dimmer | Scene Toggle | Powermiser | Homebridge Buddy

Re: AppleScript Handler Open Beta

This plugin is being rolled into the Mac Commander plugin and is being abandoned as a stand-alone plugin. This will be available on GitHub until it has been fully incorporated into Mac Commander and Mac Commander's latest release is out of development and testing.
