Reduce webserver logging

Hi,

I have started getting all the webserver actions posted in the log and can't get it to stop :)
I'm not really sure why the started coming back either, can't remember affecting piBeacon plugin.

I tried to upgrade to newest version and have tried the menu option reduce webserver logging wich have previously worked. But now nothing seams to be affected by execute/reverse.

Is there a manual way to reduce the logging? because with a few Pi's and connected sensors the logg gets impossible to manage :)

I'm on version 7.138.545 but i don't think that is the reason.

Re: Reduce webserver logging

A) switch to socket comm in plugin config

B) add the variables to the do not log variables some in the indigo Menus. As I don’t have Indigo up and running for some weeks I can’t help Much more.

The plugin has an option to suppress the logging in Webserver code

But I believe the new version has changed the Webserver code so that might not work anymore.

Karl.

Re: Reduce webserver logging

Hi Karl,

Tried A but with no noticeable change.

Could not find any menu option to not log some specifik variabels in Indigo menu.
I would like to mute all Web Server request to set variable "pi_IN_Alive" and those like it.

Cannot get the menu option to suppress logging to change anything in the logg, this previously worked fine.

Are you leaving indigo?

Re: Reduce webserver logging

I am moving to Vienna. And my computers are still in dallas.
And I am not leaving indigo

You can try to switch to socket comm in plugin menu

Or in the regular indigo menu the is an option somewhere to turn off logging for variables.

Karl.
