Hey guys,

Home Remote for Apple TV has been approved by Apple. It never passed beta review so apologies to the people that weren't able to test the app.

You can get Home Remote by searching the App Store on the Apple TV or, if you already own Home Remote for iOS, get it by searching "Purchased" in the App Store, which might be easier.
It is bundled with the iOS and Apple Watch versions and is not a separate purchase.

Currently the Apple TV version supports digest authentication while the iOS version doesn't, this will change as soon as 2.7 for iOS approved, in the couple of days or so.

If you want beta access to 2.7 for iOS then drop me a private message and I'll add you.

The Apple TV version supports the Siri Remote and can act as a Home Remote: Remote relay, passing on your internal commands when you are outside of the network.

You can also purchase it here: http://www.bouncingball.mobi/homeremote

How does this compare to the Home HomeKit app? I have that integrated with Indigo using the HomeBridge application and I am just starting to explore its functionality. I have lots of Insteon gear, but my locks, thermostat and smoke detectors are HomeKit.

It is essentially a copy of the today screen on iOS, but you can use the Siri remote to call actions when the app is open.

"An incredibly powerful app at a criminally low price."

That about sums it up right there! :D

I don't have any stats to back this up, only a feeling based on support emails, but I think Indigo might be my biggest driver of sales... or its implemented the most confusingly :)

Happy to mention it when I can :)
