CPU temps seem to be for older still plugged in Mac

Hi Karl,

CPU temps seem to be for older still plugged in Mac 185degF vs 125degF and fan speeds seems same, is there a config portion that sets the ip address that the plugin references?

Thank you,
Daniel

Daniel,

the cpu temp .. info does not work for m1/m2 type macs anymore . (the power metrics utility used does not support m1 cpu etc.

re IP# what specifically are you referring to?

Ahh, that makes sense - if it does not work anymore is there any plan to support in the future? The ip address reference was wondering if it just needed to be pointed at the correct computer to update this info, but that doesn't seem to be required.

Thanks Karl!

Best regards,
Daniel

"powermetrics" is used to read the info.

And that comes from apple as part of the OS.

So I guess we are out of luck. ... and may be Apple thinks it is not needed as the CPUs don't get hot anymore??
