What's next for iFindStuff?

Hi all

Well I'm finally back so I need to know what features or fixes are uppermost in your mind. Reply to this post with your ideas/suggestions and I'll see what I can do for the next release.

Regards

Mike

Re: What's next for iFindStuff?

The biggest issue for me is that the plugin doesn't seem to be working with two factor authentication/two factor verification on an icloud account. So that would be my first priority :)

Thanks!

You're right - it won't. I'll look at that first seeing as you're so prompt in coming back!

The early bird gets the worm! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help with testing and the like.

You've already mentioned in another post that you're addressing it with your forthcoming app, but battery drain is what made me stop using iFindStuff.. Looking forward to seeing whatever you're working on.

Ditto. Wonderful plugin. My wife didn't appreciate the needed recharge during day.

Using home remote on each phone is working reasonably well, but not nearly as "full featured" as the iFindStuff plug in.

Hi Mike, I know this might not be directly related to the purpose of the plugin, but if possible to add other iDevice events such as "inbound/outbound call in progress" might be useful. One can have a trigger to mute their home audio system in such cases. :)

thanks,
Vig

Are there any future plans for iFindStuff? If not, can I fork iFindStuff and work on some enhancement ideas that I have?

Would love someone to take this forward - and get it working with two factor authentication...

Re: What's next for iFindStuff?

Well Chameleon posted a few days ago saying he was back from a hiatus and is gonna start doing stuff again. Might be worth sending him a PM to see what his plans are.
