Indigo Domotics

I'm looking to use this plugin with an Arduino board and moisture sensors, from what I've read it looks easily possible but I'm completely confused as to how to get this plug in to work!
I can setup the sketch to show the readings from the sensor in the serial monitor window. But getting the plug in to communicate seems a complete mystery.
I have the ethernet sketch loaded so the board has an ip but the plugin gives "offline"
Is there a sketch available? as the info suggests there's one bundled with the plugin but I cannot find it.
