Error with v7.33.72

I upgraded fingscan and now get this error. The MAC address is for the Wifi of a new laptop. I masked the ID for privacy with xx

fingscan Error ''xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx''
getfingData @line 3174: 'if self.fingStatus[kk] == "up" and self.allDeviceInfo[theMAC][u"status"] != u"up":'

I need a little more info:

1. which mac os
2. mac hardware apple or intel
3. the mac number (you xx:xx:xx..ed) : does the indigo device exist?

Indigo 2022.1 is running on Mac mini macOS 10.14.6
your plugin is v. 7.33.72
I installed the latest Fing-5.5.2-osX package from the fingscan website.

The device that causes an error is a M1 MacBook Pro, running macOS 12.3.1
TheIndigo fingscan device for the Mac number causing problems does not exist.

Great, I don't get the error anymore with this version.
Are you working on a Python 3 version?
There still are a number of odd things:

First, the log shows at startup this. Since my debug settings are Info, I should see the first line only.

Second, several devices show up as "Up" with a date of "0".

Third, a few typos in the Config Window:

this version is working under py 2 and py3 (at least on my mac)
you can try to switch to py3:
edit info.plist
change api version from 2.0 to 3.0
and restart

I switched plugin over to Python 3.

Regarding the '0' for timeOfLastChange, this has been at 0 for more than a day when I installed latest version. It only happens with two devices.

And when does a device switch over to "expired". I have a few devices that have e.g. expired Wifi but they are running.

1) I still have two weeks later several devices showing up as UP with a date of "0".

2) Also, still have several devices showing "expired". The devices are up and running and are still using the IP address that Fingscan shows as expired.

3) And last, whenever I restart the plugin it shows one particular device in the log (I did hide the MAC address).
Any idea what is going on?
