iOS 14 impact

I'm not running the beta, but it sounds like (based on reports) iOS 14 will introduce randomized mac addresses. Turned on by default. I assume this will cause fing to not be able to associate a device, correct?

It’s enabled by default on the watch but not on other devices. You can disable it for individual networks in the network settings. I’ve disabled it for my home network and everything works fine.

Interesting, I’ve found it enabled by default on all devices I’ve tried it on so far. I was hoping it’d be off my default on known existing networks but nope. Of course things may change between now and GM.

I suspect when I turned it off on my watch it turned off for that network on all devices. :)
