graph is not updating

I'm trying to plot my energy and gas consumption in a couple of graphs. Very manual: ca every week I read the meter value of the gas (and electricity) meter and enter it to a variable each.
Then I print this in a graph (DNorm hour) to get the daily average consumption ((in $).
The graph looks good, but I have two issues with it:
1. the values are not updated, until I run manually 'reload data from SQL database', and re create the graphs. When I look in the SQL lite database teh values are there, but looking in the sql file the values are not there until the reload data is run)
2. for some reason the variable is duplicated in teh sql-lite datebase (might not be due to the Indigp plot pgrm), so the daily values becomes strange when the timeperiod between the values are not correct.

My other graphs works fin.

Any suggestinos?

I tried to create the graph based on a file instead, then I have a bit more control of the updates of it.
But I cannot get a time series graph, only values on the x-axis. Is it possible to create a time series graph from a file?
