Nexia to Indigo Zwave

Howdy

I have been using Nexia for 7 or so years. I am starting to have issues with my outdoor cameras, and Nexia has no new ones.

Now on to my question, I have a trial copy of Indigo along with a Homeseer G3+ usb stick. Is there an easy way to transfer all the motion detectors etc over to Indigo? Or do I have to do one at a time? I am going to stop using Nexia if I can.

Re: Nexia to Indigo Zwave

Welcome!

My brain is still asleep so I may have forgotten something but as far as I can think, if the devices are already included in the stick, you should be able to Add each device in Indigo (one by one) without having to Include/Exclude each device.

Indigo should show you the list of nodes already on the stick, you’ll just need to know in advance (from Nexia) which device/node is where in your house.

At the end of the day, it’s safe to try- if I’m wrong the nodes just won’t show up in the stick.

Thanks

The devices are all on my Nexia BR100 bridge. If I use the Nexia plug in with my new stick can I import them from that?

Unfortunately I’m not familiar with Nexia.

It might be you can leave them on Nexia and just use the plugin to integrate but I’ll leave it to a Nexia user to advise further.

No. The Nexia plugin doesn't do anything with Z-wave.

Well looks like I have a lot of unlearning and relearning to do.

Thanks
