Hey guys, I’m looking to replace my Tx-nr626 receiver from Onkyo. Having too many issues with the HDMI switcher and ARC. So can anyone suggest a replacement? Basically looking for something with HDMI ARC / optical input that can connect to my surround sound speakers and has an Ethernet port to control the volume by Ethernet if needed.
Ideally under $300 if possible. Just a good average surround sound receiver.

I don't know what current model numbers may suit your needs, but I've been extremely satisfied with Denon AVRs. My current model is discontinued, but it sounds great, allows Ethernet control, and works well with the Denon plugin.

Had zero problems with my Pioneer VSX-1127 and the Pioneer plugin.
I use Arc and optical input with it.
