Best Rainfall Sensor

I have been hoping to find a rainfall data source for my irrigation needs, but it seems like all the sources have dried up (pun intended). I hoped that NOAA would provide the measured rainfall from the day before, but it seems like that is not in the cards. As such, I now feel like I have to go the rain sensor route. Does anyone have a rain sensor recommendation? I currently see 4 options:

  • Netatmo
  • WeatherFlow
  • WeatherLink Live
  • WeatherSnoop

I believe WeatherSnoop works with weather stations but requires Catalina, which I do not want to upgrade to at the moment.

Does anyone hav experience with any of these devises? Is there a clear winner? I would like it to be compact if possible, but that is not a deal killer. Thanks for all the help from the Indigo Community!

Re: Best Rainfall Sensor

Netatmo sensor is working well for me. Data travels via the cloud, which isn't ideal, but otherwise very happy with it.
