[SOLVED]: is Zwave.me UZB - USB stick supported?

So I was going to order the Aeon Labs Aeotec USB adaptor, but is is sold out eveywhere.

Does anyone know if the z-wave UZB can be used with Indigo?

With the caveat that Indigo does not (yet) support the commands to put that controller into inclusion and exclusion mode. Since it doesn't have a physical button like the Z-Stick to enter those modes, you will have to use other software (like openzwave) for initially including modules. Once included, Indigo will see them and you can define/sync devices with them.

Hi Matt,

Sorry, I missed your post, and can you explain it in detail? The UZB stick is already on the way. The Aeotecs are sold out everywhere.

Does it mean that my current Z-wave devices that are part of the Zipato set up can be seen by Indigo with UZB?

Since I have Zipato running, can I use it to set the Z-wave devices to inclusion mode?

Re: [SOLVED]: is Zwave.me UZB - USB stick supported?

I indeed have troubles with the inclusion / exclusion of the devices (e.g. Fibaro FGK-101) to Indigo.
From Indigo I see the associated devices (please see the logs), but cannot remove old / add new ones.
Do I understand correctly that one either needs:

S1: Special Indigo build: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=13072#p89209

S2: Use 3rd party software for the initial inclusion / exclusion (e.g. mentioned OpenZwave)?

At the same time I had no troubles to associate FGK-101 into Z-Wave network operated by VeraEdge.

Please see the DEBUG logs from Indigo (attached file) and partly below :

Solved it with Domiticz + OpenZWave :)
