Re: Honeywell Total Connect Comfort API

I'm not aware of anyone doing a plugin for Mitsubishi yet, and there's no published API for it, but a quick google brings up a French page where some chaps have reverse engineered the protocol and it looks pretty simple - either one of us could probably knock it up if we had time.

I'm trying to raise quarter of a million £ for/with my church at the moment, for a building scheme.

It's taking a while... :)

Just make some plugins people can't live without and charge £2 a pop. Problem solved!

Computer says no.

I'm ready to go - just waiting for Honeywell permission to release. It will support multiple locations. Should be out in the next week.

Has it been released yet? Because I get confused by the release on the webpage:

Download the latest and greatest version here:
Honeywell.IndigoPlugin_0.3.0.zip

v0.3.0 - 03/15/2016
Official Honeywell API!
Wi-Fi Models 6880, 8580, 9580, 9590 supported.

And this one does not want to get installed.
"Local Indigo Server needed for this file, folder, or functionality"

I try to install it on my Server where Indigo is running
I have my MacMiniserver running 10.6.8

.....or do I have to wait just a little bit longer ;-)

Regards,

Mirko

Re: Honeywell Total Connect Comfort API

It's not available yet (the new plugin). Also Honeywell seem to be having issues, it's been 3 days now and their API / online services are still down. IFTTT fails and I'm getting a daily email to say communication has been lost with my Evohome system... Not great!

Pete, everything's still working for me?

I just changed setpoint via app, then checked Evohome and Indigo showed the new setpoint...

We had the same problem, but Honeywell solved it within 1 day and it seems to be still working here in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Re: Honeywell Total Connect Comfort API

I've just connected IFTTT to Honeywell and created a recipe to set zone temperature at half past.

I'll report back.

Re: Honeywell Total Connect Comfort API

Hi,

I still cannot use the plugin.

I get:

Honeywell Error Error in plugin execution MenuAction:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 89, in dumpTCC
File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 6/Plugins/Honeywell-1.IndigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Honeywell.py", line 1218, in dumpTCC
TypeError: cannot concatenate 'str' and 'NoneType' objects

Reloading plugin "Honeywell 0.4.4"
Stopping plugin "Honeywell 0.4.4" (pid 86809)

Error process (pid 86809) failed to quit after polite request -- forcing it to quit now

I have three Total Connect Comfort Stations that work perfect with their app.

Anyone can help me out here?

Thanks,

Mirko

Re: Honeywell Total Connect Comfort API

Per other threads, Nick has been away; he's back now/shortly so will be looking at all the bugs which have surfaced in 0.4.4
