Honeywell Thermostat

First attempt at a plugin for the newish Honeywell thermostats!

Adjust your thermostat from anywhere. Create your own unique look to match your home’s decor. Enjoy unsurpassed comfort control. Receive reminders to change a filter or be alerted of extreme home temps. Beauty and brains collide with Honeywell’s Smart Wi-Fi Thermostat.

v0.1.0 - 08/19/2014
  • The plugin was created as an extension to basic Indigo thermostat control. There is currently no ability to know if heating or cooling is actually running.
  • This seems to be a limitation of the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort API.
  • Note that this plugins requires connectivity to the Total Connect Comfort website. Each device is configured with the Device ID that is in the URL line of the website.
  • Thanks to Brad Goodman for reverse engineering connectivity to the Honeywell website. There is no public API that is being shared at this point in time.
  • Limited testing has been done with the Honeywell WIFI 9580 Thermostat.

Honeywell v0.2.0 Beta

v0.2.0 - 10/25/2014
  • Cleaned up error handling.

The Honeywell website seems to be unavailable more frequently than it should. I've put retry loops in for many actions and made the error reporting a bit more gentle.

Honeywell v0.4.4

v0.4.4 - 04/29/2016
  • Official evohome support.

Thank you to all that helped test this out! Please report any issues. As always, not much if any documentation exists (yet).

For evohome device owners:
  • Enter your Total Connect Comfort credentials in the plugin configuration.
  • Select "Log evohome TCC Device IDs" from the Plugins/Honeywell menu. If credentials are correct, it will return a list of all evohome devices to the Indigo log.
  • Select "Create evohome Devices" from the Plugins/Honeywell menu. This will iterate through all devices configured on the TCC site and add them to Indigo.

Re: Honeywell Thermostat

Is there a way to download this plugin at present?

The links seem to point to a disabled server.

Thanks
