Sonos Plugin Event Log

Is there a way to suppress Sonos queue activity from the event log? Every time a song changes on a playlist or station it writes to the event log - it's quite a lot of logging. Here is an example:

Sonos ZonePlayer: Room Sonos, Save Queue: Indigo_RINCON_B8E937925FD801400
Sonos Loaded Playlists... [3]

This is repeated pretty constantly filling up the event log. I've checked all the settings but cannot find a way to suppress it.

Any ideas?

Autorat,

Other than the event log is your sonos plugin working ?
Mine stopped working months ago and I haven't been able to get it fixed.

Sorry for the long delay - Yes, the latest SONOS plugin in the plugin store fixes all the issues created by the SONOS update. Nick is a God. Will send a donation now for all his hard work.

Still searching for a way to suppress Sonos queue activity from the event log - Anyone have any ideas?

I will get to the logging issues plus some of the other long time requests next week. I’ve been waiting for a SoCo library update which doesn’t seem to be coming. Will work around that.

When I perform a Sonos action, the log shows the specifics. For example...
Trigger Minimote - Sonos Volume Up
Sonos ZonePlayer: Sonos - Office, Current Volume: 12, New Volume: 14

However, in action groups there are no specifics as shown in screenshot. Is there a way to create a Python script to make group changes and volume/mute changes so the documentation is clear?

There’s a feature request for more info in that screen across the whole of Indigo; I thought I’d seen it coming in 7.3 but must have imagined that.

Plugins control what's shown for their actions (not Indigo) so it would be up to them to update that info.

We did add some additional information (delays for instance) in a a previous 7.x release (can't remember exactly which one).

Yes (I had temporarily forgotten that) but wasn’t their chat about showing the properties of the action?

If that plugin action is called “Set volume” and there’s a property for the value to set it to, the name of the action will still be “Set volume”.

I don’t think there’s a .uiValue equivalent for action names to display “Set volume: %s” in this UI is there?

I had asked Nick about this a couple of years or more ago. I remember him saying there was something that made it not possible to render the specifics in the UI. I don't recall what it was.
