Thank you for adding Amazon Polly.

Now I am getting these every minute. Was not getting this with 1.03. But getting similar "falling off network" messages with my Hikvision's.

Re: Sonos 1.04 Falling off network every minute

Please restart the plugin in debug mode (the first debug checkbox) and check the custom state called "alive" for each of the ZonePlayers. It should be the second to last in the custom state list. It should be populated with the current time. Let's start there.

Re: Sonos 1.04 Falling off network every minute

Watching this with interest as I also am seeing the same behaviour here, but mine has been doing this before the latest version.

Re: Sonos 1.04 Falling off network every minute

Mine was doing this also but I reloaded the plugin and that has stopped it since then (15 minutes). However, I still get the following log entry whenever there is a sonos announcement:

Code: Select all
Sonos Error                     Error in plugin execution ExecuteAction:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "plugin.py", line 198, in actionZP_announcementMP3
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7/Plugins/Sonos.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Sonos.py", line 1858, in actionAnnouncement
KeyError: key id 1440525837 not found in database

This has been happening since v1.0.3.

Re: Sonos 1.04 Falling off network every minute

I'll do a "me too" post... I started seeing the same thing as the OP a few hours after upgrading to 1.04 - all 9 Sonos devices "fell" off the network. Reloading the plugin would bring them back for a (seemingly) random amount of time, but eventually they'd all fall off again. The Sonos application installed on the Indigo server correctly reported all speakers and would play to each of them. All speakers have reserved DHCP addresses and I double-checked to make sure they're unchanged. I tried deleting/re-installing the plugin, along with restarting Indigo and it's hosting server, didn't help. I downgraded to 1.03 with no other changes (including no restart/reboot) and all is well again.

Re: Sonos 1.04 Falling off network every minute

I enabled debug logging and did not see the 1 minute interval error.

Disabled logging and the error has not returned.

This could be a tough one to pin down.

Re: Sonos 1.04 Falling off network every minute

I also upgraded today and saw this behavior.

On startup, this occurs:

Code: Select all
Sonos Error                     Error in plugin execution startup:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "plugin.py", line 36, in startup
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7/Plugins/Sonos.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Sonos.py", line 265, in startup
  File "/Library/Application Support/Perceptive Automation/Indigo 7/Plugins/Sonos.indigoPlugin/Contents/Server Plugin/Sonos.py", line 2220, in closedPrefsConfigUi
KeyError: key Polly not found in dict

I will turn on debugging and post what I see.

Me too. Downgrading to 1.03 worked.

[Edit] Thanks again for this great Plugin.

My system has 10 zones and one sub, if that matters. All have static IP's, except the sub.

Sonos 1.04 Falling off network every minute

I have the same issue, it seems like everything is working, just the logs filling up. Sorry for the noob question but how do I downgrade?

I'm having the same issues. Where did you find 1.0.3 version? so i can downgrade.

This is a great plugin! Thank you so much. Just 1.0.4 does not work for me.

Yup me too - anything you want tested?
I have a bunch of old and new units, along with Play 1's, 3's and 5's in stereo pairs, not sure if it could be related?

I was having this issue, then I did a Sonos software update using my iPhone and the problem went away.
