Initial Setup Problems

Just installed the Sonos Plugin (so its the latest version).
Lastest version of Indigo Server and OS X.

I am new to this, so maybe I made a mistake in etc setup of the plugin...

I have six Sonos Play 1 speakers on my network.
None of the speakers are combined into a stereo pair.
I have the Sonos software app installed on my Mac (the same Mac running Indigo Server.
The Sonos software app is running.

When configuring the Sonos Plugin, I entered the IP address of one of the Sonos Speakers in as the "Reference ZonePlayer".
I left everything else as default.

I get this returned (constantly repeating) in the Indigo Event Log:
plugin runConcurrentThread function returned or failed

PS - I am able to browser the web interface of the Sonos Speaker I entered in as the "Reference ZonePlayer" using the http://[Any ZonePlayer IP]:1400/status/topology URL

Ideas?

Re: Initial Setup Problems

Can you turn on all debugging modes from the config menu and post the output. Thx.

Re: Initial Setup Problems

I just restarted everything and now it is working.

My next step was to add each Sonos Play 1speaker as a device.
Then I created an Action Group, and assigned the action sonos: Toggle Play for each Sonos Play 1 speaker.

I then tested the Action Group from the Indigo app, and it worked great.
All six Sonos speakers started playing and paused playing.
So cool!

Next I added a button to one of my Control Pages:
• used the Media Play State png
• told it to display the "State" for one of the Sonos Play 1 speakers
• Assigned the the Server Action to Execute Action Group (Server Action) > Sonos Toggle

When I press the button from the browser (Safari OS X), I get inconsistent results.
When I press the button from Indigo Touch (iOS 9.2.1), I can't e er pause the music. It passes for a split second, then resumes.

When watching the Indigo Event Log window, it seems two actions are sent for each device (see below).
And when it doesn't result in the correct action, the last two commands are opposite of what should have been sent (see below).

Re: Initial Setup Problems

Let's first make sure that everything is working properly with the plugin. With debugging on (check the boxes in the plugin configuration dialog), restart the plugin and post the output. I want to make sure that ZonePlayer data is being retrieved as part of the initial setup and that events are streaming in. We can then take it from there.

Thanks.
