sonos stereo pair

I placed my two play:5 units as a stereo pair in my family room. Works great.

The sonos app treats them as one device (it merged them). In indigo, I still have them listed as individual units. it seems as if playing one unit from indigo will play the pair. but sometimes I must play a specific one to get the status to update.

how should I handle a stereo pair in indigo? do I need both IPs of the pair set up as devices? Or can I delete one. I thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience before I mess up a lot of actions.

I had a stereo pair setup for awhile with only one defined in Indigo and it worked just fine.
