[ANSWERED] Sonos Plugin - Custom States are NULL. How to Fix

Hi,

I am trying to add some conditional logic to some of my Indigo actions for my Sonos system and my Keypadlinc. However, most of the Custom states are null so the logic doesn't satisfy the condition. Is there a workaround for this?

Thanks in advance

Hmmm I guess the plugin is just broken. There was a hostname issue a while back but not the case for me. I think using an ISY instead of Indigo will do the trick. Good thing there was a trial!

To be fair, Nick (the Sonos plugin developer) did say on the main Sonos thread he is moving houses and busy. So I would expect his response time to your question might be a bit slow. You might want to give him more than 17 hours to reply. ;-)

Yeah I wasn't looking for Matt as I believe this was a previous issue others had and possibly Indigo had the forethought of documenting it or having some knowledge of a workaround via experience with others.

Hmmm.. I don't recall this issue, but I may not be understanding what you are seeing. Can you provide more details?

Have you tried re-creating the Sonos device in Indigo? Any errors in the Event Log (copy/paste into a reply)?

Thanks Matt. Look at Board Index/3rd party plugins/Nicks plugins

No error messages in the event logs

Here is the screen in the device page

I'm afraid that is plugin specific, so we'll have to wait for Nick to chime in.

We can grant trial extensions. I'd suggest you wait to hear back from Nick, and then if trial is expired at that point email us (indigo-support AT perceptiveautomation.com) requesting an extension.
