New LIFX bulb not added to Indigo

I just got two new LIFX Mini Color bulbs except LIFX is apparently not calling them "Mini" anymore.

Previous "mini" bulbs would show up in the LIFX App as "LIFX Mini C".

The new bulbs I just got are showing up in the LIFX App as "LIFX Color 800lm" (see attached image) and they are not being picked up by the Indigo LIFX plugin during discovery.

I turned on verbose logging for the LIFX plugin but I don't see any reference to the new bulbs (I was hoping to see an Unknown Device message).

I also don't see this descriptor on the LIFX products page here: https://lan.developer.lifx.com/docs/product-registry

Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

It should be discovered regardless as to whether the device name is known or not.

However, you should be able to add it manually via the New... dialogue.
Select LIFX and then LIFX device, don't select anything from the pulldown list if your device isn't shown.
Enter the Mac address (serial in your image i.e.. d0:73:d5:68:83:45 and note that the colons are needed) andthen the IP address of the lamp. You may have to determine this from your router?
Then click Save.

Your device, should then connect.

The manual adding hasn't been as well tested as auto-discovery but I have just tested it and it seems to work, albeit it did throw out an error that I will follow up on.

Thanks Jon!

Adding them manually worked great!

Hi Michael,
That's good to know. :)

What is the model showing as in the Indigo Device UI and is the firmware shown correctly i.e. 3.7?
