Low Priority Feature Request - Color Temperature

Hi Jon, In the latest release of the LIFX bulb firmware, it supports color temperature down to 1550K. The plugin currently supports color temperature down to 2500K. If you find yourself working in that part of the code, it would be nice to select below 2500K, but don't make a special effort. I really appreciate all of your work on this plugin!

Re: Low Priority Feature Request - Color Temperature

Download the latest version (V6.1.6) from the Indigo Plugin store.

On the restart the discovery process will list the LIFX lamps and show LIFX Product Id number and model.

If you let me know those details for the lamp in question and also the firmware level shown in the Indigo Devices UI and then I will investigate for you. :)

NB: You may need to right-click on the device listing headers and tick firmware if it isn't already shown.

Re: Low Priority Feature Request - Color Temperature

OK, that's weird, All my bulbs are showing up as LIFX+ (BR30), even though they are a mix of LIFX+ (BR30), LIFX+ (A19), and LIFX A19. I checked the LIFX app and it's showing the same..... Seems like a LIFX issue... Let me investigate and get back. They all show a firmware of 2.80

Re: Low Priority Feature Request - Color Temperature

Hey Jon,
Fixed all of my LIFX issues through LIFX tech support..... back to my original question, and your request for info. My question was that the latest version of LIFX firmware allowed the color temperature to be set below 2500, but the plugin does not seem to support color temperature under 2500. Again, this is a low priority request. Device firmware details within attachment,
Thanks, Ron

I am in the process of looking at this one at the moment. I will post when I have an update for you. :)
