It's all been working great until today.
Decided to add a raspberry pi zero client.
Even though I enter the correct mac address it doesn't seem to accept it.

Started plugin "Autolog Squeezebox 2.2.0"
Autolog Squeezebox Autolog 'Squeezebox Controller' initialization complete
Autolog Squeezebox Started 'BathroomPI': ''
Autolog Squeezebox Started 'PI-Kitchen seq_no:0': 'b8:27:eb:73:da:57'

Is 1499027436 the device ID of Pi Zero?
If so to get you started, I suggest deleting the device and see if the plugin recovers for your existing devices.

What version of the plugin are you running and what version of Squeezebox Server?

I haven't done anything with this plugin for quite a while as I don't use Squeezebox any longer. :|

Hey

That number isn't device id nor base 10 mac address.
Removed everything server and clients.
Started afresh and it found the player!! working great again.

Can I ask what you use to stream now?. I loved your plugin because with max2play on a pi it works great. Also the control from control pages and announcements.
Are you using something that still provides all that flexibility??

Cheers - much appreciated

I am pleased you have got it sorted. :)

I now use Roon as my music manager running on my Indigo iMac.

I use a mixture of Bluesound devices and a pair of Yamaha NX-N500 speakers with my Mac.

Roon does support steaming to Squeezeboxes i.e. it replaces the Squeezebox server.

I have written a plugin to support Roon: Roon Controller

I have a Quobuz Sublime + streaming plan which Roon integrates well with.
Roon also supports Tidal.

If I had paid you 1p for every track I’ve played via your plugin I’d owe you 1 million pounds !!
Does roon plugin still allow exactly the same as squeezebox ? What’s the advantage??

Cheers
