Considering options to get Home Assistant values to Indigo

Been going through the forums, etc. to see if it would be feasible. Looks like the current Plug-ins may not be usable going forward?

Why the interest in Home Assistant? There is an existing 3rd party integration to Kia/Hyundai Bluelink API that connects/reports on status/values of my Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. Much more efficient and easier to use than the Bluelink App.

Since I only want about 3 or 4 values I may try to hit up the Hyundai servers directly.
Just thinking out loud for the moment to see what options might be available.

I followed the suggestion and it works quite well.

Am I correct that I will need all 3 MQTT Plugins? Broker, Connector and Shims?

You need a broker. It can be the plugin or it could be external to Indigo.

You need the Connector.

You don’t need Shims if you’re using the method in the link above.
