Here in Northern VA and DC we're seeing more and more things shutting down. Restaurants are closing and companies are going 100% virtual. All schools are closed for at least a month, and my kids 7 and 11 are still very much in "this is a snow day" mode. I'm sure that will change once we get past day 3!

I hope everyone gets the care they need, the tests they deserve, and treat each other IRL with as much love as we do on this forums.

We are closing down Sweden at the moment. All the have the opportunity is working from home, University and High schools are closed, primary schools are still open but are only half full.
Even if we produce teen times more toilet paper than we use in this country the stores run empty last week. People seems determined that if they shall pass away they will at least do with a clean butt.
So far 7 dead in total, considering that about 250 pass away in a normal day its not a high rate but the it can be worse, much worse.

What’s truly alarming is the ratio of cases to people tested.

My very very large workplace still hasn't closed down completely, and I'm IT staff in a department tasked with teaching staff how to use Zoom etc. for teaching.

When I was told we'd be doing this in person, I took leave. I cannot fathom the short sightedness involved in "teach people in person how to use an online conference system."

Church now closed to all groups.

School looks like we’re staying open so, as IT, we’ll be working throughout.

Illinois now under a shelter in place order. All non-essential public-facing businesses are ordered closed. Still have "normal" access to food, pharmacy, gas, and medical. Restaurants that can are still able to offer carry out and drive through. People who can't work from home are still able to go to work. For many of us, nothing will change. It's more meant to address the groups of folks that refuse to distance themselves from others.

At home with wife. For 6 days now

Only go out for buying groceries and a walk.
Have done all Netflix movies... left to watch are things like “love is blind” ... have not sunk that low.

Need a new challenge.. does any one need any programs to be written. Any scripts?

And another 8 weeks to go.

In Australia today all pubs, clubs, restaurants, gyms, cinemas and places of worship were closed. Food outlets can still provide take away / delivery.

Schools in Melbourne and Sydney are pretty much closed from tomorrow.

Like other countries we have had mass panic buying and it can be difficult to get some staples. Although this situation seems to be improving.

Although most businesses remain open, my wife and I have been sent home to work by our employers.

It’s very strange and sad.

I'm a radiologist in the Netherlands. There is pretty strict social distancing but not a formal lockdown. Restaurants, sports clubs, and much more has been forced to temporarily close doors nation-wide. Schools will most probably teach online until at least June 1st.
Hospitals have scaled down pretty much everything except cancer care, emergency case and COVID-19. Nearly all hospitals are doing a great job preparing, although it's going to be tight on the number of available respirators. The peak on ICU occupancy is expected in May, a lot of these patients will have to intubated. Personal protection materials are also hard to get by. Right now, having scaled down a lot and the peak yet to come, there is a surreal moment of quiet in radiology reporting. Most of that time goes into management tasks as virtually every part of the usual logistics has changed...
