Old Apple posters

I was clearing out my garage today and found I still had some old Apple posters from back in the day when I owned and ran an Apple Authorised Reseller and repair centre. Thought some of you might like to see. Most are in very good condition, some have never even been hung up.

I'm sure I had one of the PowerBook G3 Pismo but can't seem to find it. (IMO the best laptop Apple ever made)

Re: Old Apple posters

Cool! Those are probably worth a bit to the Apple memorabilia collectors!

Re: Old Apple posters

Especially the ones that are printed upside down. Those seem extra valuable.

Re: Old Apple posters

Hehe! Actually we did once get a set of leaflets that had the reverse page printed up side down. Apple sent a courier the same day to pick them up within an hour of them being delivered. They don't like mistakes!

So @roussell.. wanna buy them? Only £1000 per poster. I know you want them! :D

Re: Old Apple posters

When we moved last year I ran across some Think Different posters and a few other. I kept them, but they're now back in the recesses of storage in the new house. Maybe some day they'll be worth something.

Re: Old Apple posters

When I saw the thread title I thought you were referring to yourself, and that you were not that old

Maybe over a virtual beer you can tell us the tale of how you moved from running an Apple reseller to working for North East Englands finest software vendor.

Re: Old Apple posters

It's a very short story. Running your own business is exceptionally stressful. I met a girl down here who is now my wife. I sell up, move down here, get a job... I know.. so exciting :D

You have GOT to work on that tale... perhaps something involving Apple's rumored black ops teams, MI6, CIA, etc.

Great posters! If you're looking for a home I'd love to have them in my office

Re: Old Apple posters

@RogueProeliator shh that's all top secret!

@petematheson make me an offer I can't refuse . And yeah it is very stressful.. it does give me great empathy for Matt & Jay doing all this stuff.. I totally understand some of the major difficulties they'll have day to day. I actually eventually had a collapsed lung due to the stress.. and the final nail in the coffin was when I had to fire someone who was a very close friend. Clearly though you're coping with it... and that tesla is most certainly proving you're doing well at it
