Look at the size of that cat!

Okay, I was planning on posting some photos of our cats or tortoise but apparently my phone just has puppers photos. I'll have to steal my wife's phone for the cat photos.

If you're going to have a dog, have a dog you can ride I say.

One of my schnauzers was blind. Can you guess which one? So during his last 4 years I was a "guide person for a blind dog".

So it was time to find a successor to Zorro. And here he is.. Jupiter. 10 month old stray that we’ve revoked. He’s a lovely wee thing.. very friendly and affectionate and loves to lay on my lap like Zorro did. And as we can’t let him outside for a while it was time to get a new cat flap.. so we got the Sureflap connect with internet bridge. I’m hoping one day they may publish an API and a plugin can be made

Jupiter looks like Otis’ evil twin.

Or the anti-Otis.

Congrats Durosity, nice looking fur-friend there! We’re going to the shelter to rescue a new kitty in a couple of weeks.

In preparation, I just installed a new automated dog door from hightechpets. It was expensive, but it works great and keeps the cats in while letting the dogs out. We have a lot of coyotes in the area and a kitty getting over our fence would be a goner pretty quickly.

There are no external connections to this door, but as soon as the new wears off I’ll be tearing into it to add some sensors, and possibly an Arduino for Indigo integration.

Mat - it looks like those cats could use a good ironing.
