Garden Irrigation

Hi all,

not for my, but for a friend :/
What is needed to control sprinkler/garden irrigation with Indigo/Z-Wave?
I mean, any kind of irrigation system can be controlled by Indigo? I am not an expert of irrigation systems.

Thanks
Marco

Here’s a good start, though I don’t know about regional availability.

... or check out this thread:

Discusses using ZWave switches with 24 volt irrigation solenoid valves. With the emergence of low cost Shelly devices a very economical solution might result?

Re: Garden Irrigation

this is another low-cost piece of hardware/plugin combo that's really simple.

Is this still available on the market?

The plan was to buy https://opensprinkler.com but of course there is no integration with Indigo

Maybe just standard solenoid valve 24V and some shelly?

Thanks

Re: Garden Irrigation

I haven’t used it, but there is an opensprinkler plugin:
