Why not just fix the tv ip and ping it?

Hmmm, I forgot the TV is web enabled (hence the Roku marketing). I will look into IP control. Re: ping- won’t a sleeping TV respond to that?

Awesome! Got the tv to turn/off from the Roku app last night (never even used it), I’ll install the plugin tomorrow. Thanks all.
