Second location approx 300m away, thoughts?

Hi all,
I have a very small office in a shared building approx 300m away from my house. There’s no line of sight, but I will have a dedicated internet connection in there.

It’s literally a single room so doesn’t warrant a huge investment in smart tech but there’s a few bits that I would like i.e. presence detection to trigger power on of certain sockets etc. Voice control of heater etc,.

I have an Alexa in there and I know I could get some Wemo sockets or sonoffs or similar but Ican’t help thinking that i’d Like the control of indigo but it definitely doesn’t warrant a second indigo license and second zwave interface etc

So just wondered what peoples thoughts are. Should I just go ‘simple/mainstream’ and stick with alexa routines or similar, probably sufficient, or is there a far more entertaining/complicated way of somehow hooking it up to my main indigo install over the internet?!

You can get a Vera and use the Vera bridge plugin maybe - don't know if it'll do everything you want.
