Though I'm not new to Indigo I haven't gone beyond the basics, all my setup is Insteon-based and except for WUnderground I use zero plugins yet. The farthest I've come is to create control pages for bedside Android SIP phones and iPads fixed on the walls. Recently I've been getting into virtualization and I got the urge to integrate everything but I'm no developer and I don't know where to begin. :/
Home, we have these SIP phone with tons of unused buttons (BLF keys) that basically indicate status and can send commands, it'd be awesome to just push one and open/close the garage door. Right know I use either, Control Pages, the super busy Indigo Touch or this great little Notification Center widget called Home Remote if I have my phone handy. Also I've been reading up on my phone system manufacturer's guides --they have a lot of them, BTW, I'm loving this brand-- and I found out I, well, let's just say "I", can write simple XML apps and run them on the phone with links and stuff, given Control Pages are basically links, I want to try and see if I can make something.
There's a lot of stuff in my mind, like having a video feed of the IP cams right in Control Pages, integrate the Harmony Hub, Alexa, UniFi, UniFi Video, maybe even AirMAX, these are all systems I use but I haven't gotten around to do something, with only Insteon I rarely touch a any control except for the garage doors and actually having to push and pull room doors, imagining what could be done integrating more stuff makes me feel like drunk and exited. I don't know where to begin though, could you guys toss some links and maybe a beginner's tut so I can get going?
I took some screenshot's from what I think could be customizable from the phones.
Thanks for your help!
