wireless utility meters

My water, gas and electric are all wireless meters. Any way for me to gather this data into my HA system?

Re: wireless utility meters

I suspect those things use proprietary technologies, though some do use ZigBee. I believe blue line makes a device that can communicate with them though I have no real experience (or links).

Re: wireless utility meters

Even if you can't get the information via their built in systems often there's a way of manually reading them.. for example my power meter has a red LED that flashes for each KWH used so with a simple little device i can get indigo to read that. Not ideal.. but from what i understand most utility companies don't want you integrating with the systems (because that way you might, just might save some money.. and that's not going to make the shareholders smile)

Computer says no.
