I've got an updated version of the plugin that seems to be working with the new 'secure' API. The encryption in the new API requires use of the "pycrypto" library, which I don't
think I can bundle into the plugin because: 1) it compiles code upon installation; and, 2) well, it contains crypto, which is, of course, naughty.
So,
before using the new version, you'll have to install the pycrypto library manually, using the terminal. The following command worked for me on the two machines that I tested with:
- Code: Select all
sudo easy_install-2.6 pycrypto
After installing pycrypto, you should be able to update
from GitHub per usual. At least, this worked for me.
Give it a shot and let me know how it goes.
