I am trying to connect to my Generac Generator. It has a MQTT integration running thru a program called genmon. The MQTT broker is running on my Synology NAS (1.4.14) . When I run MQTT.fx on my mac I can see several topics - See file. I cannot seem to set up a MQTT topic to listen in to the broker and get the value?

I have inserted the MQTTgateway model --> topic subscription, edit device settings -->ip adddress of server, Topic leave as device/status, show on off state checked, insert in--> I created a variable for each subscription listed and the path would be gnerator/Outage/Utility Voltage etc.

What should I put as Status Message??

Is there any update. This is simple plugin and works great. Will it be updated for the python3 indigo requirements?

The developer for this plugin abandoned it years ago. The GitHub repo doesn't even exist anymore.

The MQTT Connector and MQTT Shims plugins should handle your needs.
